Goodbye 2D, hello immersive adventures! I'm revamping my travel and automotive storytelling from the traditional 2D format to innovative spatial experiences. My enthusiasm for VR and 180 content has always been strong, but the hardware options available in the past five years just didn't cut it. Now, with the debut of the Apple Vision Pro and other advanced VR/AR gadgets, the stage is set for crafting more stunning and immersive experiences. Join me on this journey to not only learn but also to experience globe-trotting like never before.
Luxury Cruise on Ha Long Bay: In VR 3D Spatial
Join us for a brief recap of a luxurious one-night cruise experience in Ha Long Bay. The journey begins with the crew escorting you to the ship via a smaller speedboat. Once aboard, the crew provides a rundown of the itinerary and safety procedures, followed by a quick break to settle your luggage in the spacious rooms boasting wonderful balcony views. Shortly after, a buffet-style lunch is served. Spending a few hours admiring the breathtaking views from various vantage points on the ship, dinner is then served. The next morning, we kayaked for about an hour. Following a great buffet-style breakfast, we packed up and returned to shore. Overall, it was a really memorable experience that I would gladly repeat when in Vietnam.

As someone watching this video from a 3rd world country; I believe it feels awesome to drive a huge pickup truck in an offroad. Here in my place ; there are only 2 pieces of dodge-ram like this one .

Really enjoyed it on my quest 3 headset.. what I understood is that an optimal 3D camera would have the two lenses about the same width as our eyes to capture ideal depth.. obviously the iPhone cameras are close together.. as a professional do you think you'd have gotten better video with a better 3d camera? Or is the iPhone at optimal for spatial video as Apple markets it? Also could even I take such great video, or does your video look great cause you're a pro?
I'm really looking forward to the new Canon camera that they showed at CES. It's supposed to shoot 180 in 8K, which would make for some really crisp content! The iPhone gets the job done for now, but it's not very good in low light, only films in 30 fps and doesn't have any options to adjust exposure or anything else. I think you could also create a video like this with some practice. The biggest thing I learned was keeping the footage as steady as possible and trying to keep the foreground at a certain distance. I'm going to post a few more videos from the trip so you'll be able to see more examples to learn from.
